Rational Equations

Yesterday I had to go to tutoring with with my sister and ty and katie. We had to got our band teacher to hepl us. He had it really simple to understand. We missed most of class, where we were leaning sloving rational equations, becuase we were at a band proformance.

Laws

Today we learned law of sine and cosine. formulas are good, I like formulas. Hope I get the hang of it.

I don't want to write in my blog, it takes away class time I NEEd for homework

Test

We finished going though the test. I wasn't here when we started so I can't even guess if i did fine on the test. I was told that nobody did good on the test. That makes me nervous.

Trig

We learned how to solve for a side legth of a triangle and angles of a triangle, using pythagorous or trig. Again mostly review but the inverse of cos,sin and tan was new and good to learn.

Trig

Today we started Trig. Mostly it was just review.It was good to review. I'll have to sudy the pythagorean triples.

Work

Its been a long day so far. I'm glade we got a work period. That way I can just do work

Rationalizing Denominators

Dear blogg readers, we did more rationalizing denominators, but this time it was with conjugates. I learnd this last we because I wanted to finish an exercise in AM. Its easy enough.

Equation sloving with radicals

Dear blogg readers, we have started equation sloving with radicals the frist part that was taught was new, the second with rationalizing was new but I understood it instantly, which makes me happy!!!

Dear blogg readers, Another catch up day. I loved it I got over 30 questions done on AM. I'm planing to get done tonight and do the tow tests on the weekend

Dear blogg readers, radical simplification. what a mouth full, its fairlly simple. I don't find that radicals are that hard. I can do them, but I'm still struggeling with slope forms and everything. I'm going to have to do a lot of practice on it before I'll feel comfortable with it.

Rules of Exponants

Dear blogg Readers, today I learned Rules for Exponants. Now I learned a bunch of those last year but this is completely new. I'm not sure if I understand all of it but I get the jist. I'll have to look at the notes a lot to make sure that I got all the steps and understand it

Dedar blogg Readers, TOday we reviewed parallel abd perpendicular lines. Our test is tomorrow, so going over this has probably helped me out, since yesterday I could hardly pay attention while he was talking. The reason? I started grtting sick. I felt like crap. But I got over it in and hour.


As we move on thriugh the year I;m having more trouble comprehending what is being tought. I really hope that I catch on soon.

Slow Day

dear blogg Readers, today we handed in one question per table that we had the most difficult with. It felt really slow because I had finished everything and Iunderstood it. For the most part I didn't find any question that difficult but it was good to reveiw.

Forms

Dear blogg readers, we learned today the other two linear forms. its kind of easy but I get confused when we have to graph it. Hopefully I'll get it over the weekend.

Dear blogg Readers, today we learned Point/Slope formof a linaer Equation. First step find slope then use the form y-y1=m(x-x1)
y1 and x1 are one point and m is slop, its pretty easy. Luckily we have no homwork for tonight thats a first.

Dear blogg readers, today we learned how to grphf linear equations. Sounds hard. not! easiest thing to do. For help know the word "Collinear"

Dear blogg readers, today we learned midpoints and endpoints. vry fun. I was so confused at first, I had no idea how to the anything, but then Mr. Mac showed us the formula had it helped a lot.

Catch your Breath

Dear blogg readers, To day was a catch your breath day. All we did was the Work on out standing assignments and get help were we need it. I was able to ask around for help and I got the answers I was looking for. but I was distracked and got little done.

Dear blogg reader,yesterday was dumb, we had a sub. SoI didn't write yesterday.

Today we started Geometry. We have these boards that we're to use to help with questions, but I find them confusing. We'll have to see if i can find a way to make them make sence.

Dear blogg Readers, more Factoring! Wow , but this factoring is what i remember from grade 9. Its probably the easiest factoring I've done.

Dear Blogg readers,We learned today how to factor useing variouse techniques. It was a little confusing at first then I pick up on it after a realized it was alittle like somrthing we did last year so I think that this part of math will be easy

Long Division

Dear blogg readers, today we reviewed long division of polynomials by binomials. We had started it yesterday and most of the class including me were still confused this morning. Our teacher has now explained it very slowly and in detail. Now I understand it for our test tomorrow.
